A community centre in Lymm, Cheshire will receive help with its signage from a building developer.

McCarthy & Stone will advise on the best use of warning signs to help keep people informed about the monthly farmers' market, reports This Is Cheshire.

Lymm Youth & Community Centre secretary Neville Davies explained: "We welcome all donations and are delighted that McCarthy & Stone has chosen to help our cause.

"We hope we will be able to welcome many of its residents to both the farmers' market and our many events."

Last month, school children from Enfield were given an opportunity to design safety signage to be used outside of their own school.

Southbury School had been identified as a problem area for speeding drivers, despite the existence of a 20mph zone outside of the school gates and surrounding area.

The local authority is preparing to invest around £1 million in a programme to make the borough's road safer for children.ADNFCR-2754-ID-800617076-ADNFCR
