Dental office and door signs are crucial to making a good impression on potential customers, alongside fresh paint and clean windows, a marketing specialist suggests.

In an article on the My Wealthy Dentist blog, US dental marketing expert Jim Du Molin highlighted the importance of making an impression with a practice's frontage.

For high street practices, he recommends office signage that is easy to read from a distance.

Mr Du Molin wrote: "Consider optimal letter size, fonts that are easy to see along with plenty of negative space for readability at various distances.

"These considerations help make sure that passers-by can read your message."

He added that the colour blue is often a good choice, because it is associated with "depth and stability".

Dental practitioners need to be wary of local planning laws in the UK, if they intend on making improvements to their practice fascias.

Local authorities often publish best practice guides for shop front signage, including advice on planning compliance and marketing tips.ADNFCR-2754-ID-800558046-ADNFCR
