Warning signs to be reviewed in Headington

The location of warning signs in Headington will be evaluated, as they are causing cyclists to swerve.
Oxfordshire County Council has committed to exploring the signs' positions during roadworks in London Road, following complaints that a number of them were placed in cycle lanes, causing many issues for cyclists, according to the Witney Gazette.
Roz Smith, county councillor, said: "Putting diversion signs in the way of cyclists and pedestrians does seem to be something that happens quite often."
Ms Smith continued by saying that she has almost collided with one of them, while many complaints have been issued about where the signs are installed.
Her remarks come after the Skipton and Ripon MP Julian Smith took a campaign for new road signs to the secretary of state for transport.
Mr Smith has met Justine Greening at Westminster, where he underlined the need for brown signs to Masham to be reintroduced on the upgraded A1 (M).
