New warning signs have been introduced in Suffolk to make motorists aware of the dangers of speeding.
EDP24 has reported that the ten temporary Vehicle Activated Signs and mobile signs have been installed through a joint venture between Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Police.
The notices will be moved around north Lowestoft by Community Speed Watch (CSW).
They show the speed drivers are travelling at and will be moved to locations throughout the country, where they will be used by community speedwatch groups for up to four weeks at a time.
Guy McGregor, cabinet member for roads and transport at Suffolk County Council, said: “Many people, including pedestrians, cyclists and horseriders, are anxious about the speeds of vehicles on local roads."
It is important that road users are aware of their speeds, as rushing to a particular location can put the wellbeing of pedestrians and drivers at risk.
