Total Foodservice wins Clitheroe safety honour

Total Foodservice has collected an accolade at the International Safety Awards 2013.
The Lancashire Telegraph has reported that the business’ award recognises its proven commitment to ensuring wellbeing in the workplace, while representative Radoslaw Kozlowski picked up the International Health and Safety Champion honour.
Paul Nowell, operations director at Total Foodservice, told the news provider: “He constantly shows complete dedication to not only executing and promoting the stringent health and safety regulations the company has in place, but also suggesting sensible amendments to those policies and managing the change throughout the business.”
Mr Nowell explained to the news provider that Radoslaw is “hugely deserving” of the award.
The Blackburn company has developed an almost hazard-free environment by focusing on safety features, introducing boiler checks, pallet truck checks and plant checks.
Such measures aim to reduce the number of injuries at the business and improve its reputation throughout the industry.
