Stelrad Radiators shortlisted for safety award

Stelrad Radiators has been shortlisted for the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health’s (IOSH) SHP national safety awards.
It has been crowned winner for best health and safety achievement in the manufacturing category, after being put through a rigorous assessment process in order to attain the accreditation, reports HeatingandVentilating.net.
Neil Land, health and safety manager at Stelrad, told the news provider that the company is “delighted” to have got so far in the awards again.
“With over two million radiators a year coming out of our factories, and with the complex manufacturing equipment on our sites, we are constantly looking at our health and safety performance and the measures which we can take to improve,” he continued.
It is the second year that the company has been picked in the top five UK businesses for the award, marking their strong performance when it comes to protecting the wellbeing of their employees.
