Sollatek UK collects safety accolade

Sollatek UK has attained SAFEcontractor status, acting as recognition for its health and safety work.
The Slough company specialises in voltage stabilisation and protection, refrigeration and telecommunications equipment in the energy field, with the firm's director Maan Allos telling H&V News that the accreditation demonstrates its devotion to maintaining excellence.
"We work with a large number of blue chip clients and felt it was important that they, and our workforce, are aware that we take our health and safety procedures so seriously," Mr Allos told the news provider.
He went on to say that he was delighted that the company's standards have been acknowledged by SAFEcontractor.
Sollatek UK's achievement comes after Intelect UK was accredited by SAFEcontractor.
The Middlesbrough-based electrical and mechanical engineering firm was awarded for its desire to cultivate a uniformed standard across its operations, with the company's director John Thompson noting that health and safety issues are vital for the business.
