Creators of warning signs in Bearsden have been ordered to restart their work, after an error was seen at a roundabout in the area.

Road users travelling past roadworks at the £445,000 Langfaulds junction found signage that informed them that they were driving around the Langfields roundabout, before the mistake was covered up, according to the Milngavie and Bearsden Herald.

Thomas Glen, East Dunbartonshire Council’s head of development and enterprise, told the news provider that heavy rainfall has meant that the site has still not been completed.

Mr Glen conceded that a mistake was made with the signage and that replacement signs are set to be put in place on the roundabout.

In Wales, it was reported by Wales On Sunday that drivers in the country have seen signs that warn of unicorns on the A487 road.

The sign was originally made to notify people of horses, though a graffiti artists transformed the drawing into a unicorn. ADNFCR-2754-ID-800716022-ADNFCR
