The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has teamed up with Parkwood Leisure to maintain and boost its health and safety practices.

As part of the two-year deal with RoSPA, Parkwood Leisure will strive to increase staff knowledge and understanding of leisure safety risks, ranging from people in customer-facing roles to directors and senior managers.

David Rushton, head of education and leisure at RoSPA, said: “The company is showing a genuine commitment to the safety of its customers and staff. RoSPA’s breadth of experience is unparalleled in the leisure safety sector and it is this knowledge and expertise which will help Parkwood Leisure as it seeks to invest in safety and risk management for the long term.”

Mr Rushton explained that he was “delighted” to be working with Parkwood Leisure.

Parkwood Leisure is one of the UK’s leading management contractors, running 84 leisure and cultural facilities on behalf of 27 authority clients. ADNFCR-2754-ID-801610327-ADNFCR
