The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has announced a health and safety clinic, offering assistance to leisure professionals across the UK.

The event will take place from September 18th to September 20th in the Attractions Industry Lounge at the Birmingham NEC as part of Leisure Industry Week, with the group urging that safety should be "as safe as necessary, not as safe as possible".

As part of the session, RoSPA's leisure safety manager David Walker and water and leisure team leader Nathan Davies will underline how to strike the right balance when it comes to dealing with competing demands.

"The RoSPA leisure and water safety clinic is a chance for visitors to speak to us on all areas of leisure safety. RoSPA has substantial experience offering advice and training on activities," Mr Davies explained.

RoSPA recently awarded an accolade to Dungeness B power station, with the Rye and Battle Observer reporting that the group won the top honour in the electricity categoryADNFCR-2754-ID-801414705-ADNFCR
