The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) will hold three days and evenings of awards ceremonies to tie in with this week’s Safety and Health Expo.

Over 1,500 awards will be handed out this year, while 4,000 winners and guests will attend the group’s daytime ceremonies and evening banquets, which are already underway and will run until May 16th.

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “RoSPA firmly believes that organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition. Our winners have shown that they are committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we look forward to celebrating with them this week.”

The majority of the awards presented by RoSPA are non-competitive, with achievements being honoured at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels.

NEBOSH (the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) is the headline sponsor of the RoSPA Awards 2013.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801585692-ADNFCR
