Project manager Gary Williams has boosted his collection of health and safety awards after his site collected an honour in the first round of the yearly Pride in the Job Awards for his work on The Crossings in Hull.

His work demonstrates the rewards that may wait for companies that take measures such as incorporating effective safety signage.

The Star reports that Mr Williams' latest accolade comes shortly after he gained an award in the multi-storey category of the National House Building Council's Health and Safety Awards.

Also, he was deemed the regional winner for his work on The Crossings.

Frank Haslam Milan managing director Martin Smithurst told the news provider: "There is no doubt that Gary has immense pride in the development of The Crossings, so he is a worthy recipient of a Pride in the Job award."

Earlier this week, 24Dash.com reported that the Community Gateway Association has claimed the gold standard award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.ADNFCR-2754-ID-800637017-ADNFCR
