16th November 2011 | Warning Signs

The warning signs which will be used at next year's Olympic Games in London to give priority to traffic have been unveiled.

ThisisLondon.co.uk reported that these corridors will help those attending events get in lane, with operating times between 7am and 7pm.

It will not be until next year that the signs are installed, and they will become active a few days before the opening ceremony takes place on July 27th.

Along with the warning signs, Olympic rings will be painted on to affected roads.

The diagrams have been published by the Department for Transport as part of a public consultation into the Local Area Traffic Management and Parking plan, with the boroughs of Newham, Waltham Forest and Greenwich being the first to present theirs, according to the source.

Recently, PowWowNow reported that a nearly half of all businesses are not prepared for the impact which the Olympic Games will have on them, with 41 per cent stating that no special measures have been taken, according to the Redditch Standard.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801212613-ADNFCR
