King's Lynn company Williams Refrigeration have picked up an award to honour their health and safety measures.

The firm collected the Occupational Health and Safety Standard 18001:2007 certification for its work for pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, schools and universities, reports Lynn News.

Speaking to the news provider, Williams’ group safety and environmental manager Stuart Gray said: "The award reflects the hard work and commitment of our health and safety teams and all our colleagues from across the business. It is very much part of our own on-going CSR initiatives."

Mr Gray added that the work reflects the company's continual improvement initiatives and shows how it is safeguarding the wellbeing of staff and colleagues.

Recently, the National House-Building Council (NHBC) launched a new Competent Person initiative to offer health and safety advice to builders and traders.

The project will give workers help with regard to abiding by legislation and safety procedures.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801408845-ADNFCR
