Danaher & Walsh Group of Leicester has been commended by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents' (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards.

The company has picked up the award for the third time in succession, indicating their disciplined approach to health and safety, reports Build.co.uk.

David Rawlins, awards manager at RoSPA, said: "The RoSPA Awards programme provides well-deserved recognition for the winners and spurs on other organisations to raise their standards of accident and ill health prevention."

Sue Southam, QUENSH co-ordinator for Danaher & Walsh Group, also commented on the award, noting that the honour illustrates the business' proactive attitude to health and safety.

Many other companies have been recognised for their health and safety procedures recently, with Process and Control Today reporting that Mattei Compressors has picked up an accreditation from SAFEcontractor for the 12th year in a row.
