Residents in Croft will encounter roughly four weeks of road closures.

Sections of Heath Lane and Kenyon Lane are to be resurfaced, with the works set to start next week. The Warrington Guardian has reported that road closures will be in place between 9:15GMT and 15:15GMT.

As well as this, contractors will be resurfacing the junction of Sandy Brow Lane and Winwick Lane.

A Warrington Borough Council representative stated: “Cones, barriers and signs are there for a reason - to protect our workers from danger and to keep the public safe.

“We urge drivers to pay close attention to safety when driving near roadworks..”

The authority has also apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused while essential maintenance is being carried out in the area.

Drivers should ensure they search for safety signs when travelling, or they could miss out on important travel news, such as delays or diversions.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801609233-ADNFCR
