Cornwall businesses celebrate victory at Healthy Workplace Awards

A number of Cornwall businesses have been recognised at the Healthy Workplace Awards.
The event celebrates the work that bosses have conducted to boost health and wellbeing, with 25 winners being named across the county in ten core areas, including back pain prevention and mental health, reports This Is Cornwall.
Speaking to the news provider, Carolyn Rule, portfolio holder for Health Wellbeing and People at Cornwall Council, said: "Cornwall Council is delighted to receive the Cornwall Healthy Workplaces gold award, which is recognition of the progress of the council's health and wellbeing programme which was integrated into our People and Organisational Development Service in 2011."
Ms Rule explained that the programme has proved "hugely popular" with employees.
Safety awards can help to improve the reputation of businesses, as customers will be fully aware that they have measures in place to protect people's wellbeing.
Such accolades will also enable them to stand out above rivals.
