Chase Wood signs labelled ridiculous

Dog walkers in Chase Wood have criticised new warning signs in the area, which aim to make them aware of a nearby steep drop.
The yellow and black signs showing a man falling off a cliff have been condemned by walkers as visual pollution that is "out of keeping" with the natural environment, reports the Tunbridge Wells People.
Lorraine Nudd from Frant, who regularly walks her dog in the wood, told the news provider: "It smacks of the world going mad. You could create danger out of all sorts of things down here. There is a stream – what if you slip and drown there?"
Mrs Nudd went on to criticise the owner of the site, who she believes is treating it as a controllable environment.
Last week, Farming Life reported that the 2012 "Be Aware Kids" Child Safety on Farms calendar has been introduced in Northern Ireland.
It aims to highlight the dangers that children face when participating in farming activities.
