BSC launches 2014 International Safety Awards

The British Safety Council (BSC) is to launch the 2014 International Safety Awards.
The awards are open to organisations of all sizes and sectors, including members of the BSC and non-members, along with previous winners and first time entrants.
February 21st 2014 is the closing date for applications, before results are revealed on March 13th 2014.
Alex Botha, BSC chief executive, said: "The International Safety Awards recognise those organisations from around the globe that have shown a real commitment and dedication to keeping their workplaces and workers healthy and safe."
Mr Botha went on to say that an international safety award can enhance an organisation's reputation significantly, while encouraging other businesses across the globe to work hard to prevent injuries.
Applications can be completed online, with individuals answering a series of questions about their organisation's approach to health and safety.
People can revisit the online questions as many times as they want to before deciding to submit them.
