British Safety Council announces Sword of Honour winners

The British Safety Council has revealed the winners of its Sword of Honour and Globe of Honour awards.

The accolades recognise excellent performance by organisations and workers in the field of health and safety and environmental management, with six companies picking up both of the awards.

News of the awards comes after Cape Environmental Services picked up a gold medal from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, marking five consecutive gold awards from the organisation following exemplary health and safety work.

Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd, Magnox Ltd Wylfa Site, Norec Ltd Liverpool Bulk Handling Terminal and Unipart Group Consumer Logistics Cowley all collected the two honours.
