Vinci Construction wins health and safety award

Vinci Construction UK has collected the celebrating construction in South Yorkshire health and safety award, illustrating the recognition possible for firms who install efficient safety signage.

It won the accolade after demonstrating that it has complied with the construction industry's health and safety legislation, in addition to adding new measures that enhances its health and safety performance, according to The Star.

Vinci Construction regional director Keith Shivers said: "Vinci Construction management team is committed to driving home the importance of health and safety practices from its offices to the site operation."

Mr Shivers commented that, by bringing its supply chain along, the company guaranteed that everyone affected by its work will go home safely at night.

Recently, Dorset Action on Safety and Health (DASH) announced the introduction of its Health and Safety Induction scheme.
