TGW Logistics has been awarded with a health and safety accreditation from SAFEcontractor.

The company has picked up the award for the second year in succession, indicating the high standard of health and safety measures enforced across its operations, reports Materials Handling World Magazine.

TGW sales director Phil Steeds said: "In addition to constant investment in product safety technology, TGW is committed to ensuring that all its engineers adhere to best practice health and safety standards."

Mr Steeds added that, thanks to the new accreditation, clients can be reassured that safety is one of the business' key priorities.

TGW took part in a vetting process in order to pick up the honour, which saw their safety measures and track record assessed.

Another company that has been commended for protecting its staff is King's Lynn firm Williams Refrigeration.

Lynn News reported that the business has collected the Occupational Health and Safety Standard 18001:2007 certification.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801419772-ADNFCR
