Homeowners in Gronant are now benefiting from new street signs, making it easier for packages to be delivered.

The notices have been put up at Bryn Mor, Chapel Terrace and Llys Capel on Llanasa Road, with many locals telling the Flintshire Chronicle of their delight at the news.

Audrey Elder of Bryn Mor was happy about the signs being installed, as she will now be able to receive her Tesco deliveries.

Councillor Sharon Williams, who represents Gronant, told the news provider: "I am extremely pleased that working with the executive member Cllr Bernie Attridge a number of street signs have been installed."

Ms Williams added that the new signs were one of many commitments made in her election campaign.

Signage is crucial for postal services, or packages may otherwise not be delivered, causing dissatisfaction among consumers.

It is also vital that any notices are updated, so that delivery men are aware of any potential diversions.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801431019-ADNFCR
