Staff Guardian Safety System up for two awards

Staff Guardian's new GPS safety system and its creator have been nominated for awards.
The machine is in the running for the Innovation of the Year honour, while its maker Mike Turner will be competing for the Young Business Person of the Year accolade.
The machine boosts staff safety by offering an SOS alert button and report facility, which will help to protect the wellbeing of workers and ensure they receive attention as soon as possible.
Mike Turner, director of Staff Guardian Ltd, said: "Staff Guardian is different for many reasons not least of which its ability to seamlessly work and stream back its data across multiple mobile networks so that the device is always visible."
He added that the technology provides "an extra layer of safety" to lone workers, as well as giving business owners and managers access to all kinds of data about the performance of staff, which will help to improve efficiency.
