Carmarthenshire steel-framed building specialist Shufflebottom has picked up a gold award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The honour commends the business' efforts to prevent accidents and boost occupational health and safety, with one representative telling the South Wales Evening Post that it felt "great" to receive the honour.

Alex Shufflebottom also thanked the company's workers who are based in factories, offices and construction sites and have adhered to effective health and safety measures.

David Rawlins, awards manager at RoSPA, also commended the organisation, claiming that the honour provides "well-deserved" recognition and encourages other companies to raise their standards of accident prevention.

Toyota is another company that has committed to the wellbeing of workers, announcing that the manufacturer will appear at the Health and Safety Midlands event at the National Motorcycle Museum.

As well as this, the company will participate in Health and Safety North at the Reebok Stadium.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801432911-ADNFCR
