New schemes using innovation to boost safety and health are to make up a key part of this year’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents’ (RoSPA) Scotland Congress.

Places are available for the organisation’s 19th Scotland Occupational Safety and Health Congress at the Hilton Glasgow Hotel on Wednesday September 18th, which is a day before RoSPA’s 2013 Occupational Health and Safety Awards.

Delegates will be inspired by new methods and projects that have come from independent thinking and strong partnerships between companies, the third sector and local authorities.

Karen McDonnell, head of RoSPA Scotland, said: “We are particularly pleased to include health and safety insights from the forthcoming Commonwealth Games on the programme, and also a focus on mental health at work as this issue is often swept under the carpet, despite one in four people experiencing this problem at some point in their lives.”ADNFCR-2754-ID-801626046-ADNFCR
