The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has recognised the work of an ergonomics expert and a respiratory and skin specialist.

Professor Peter Buckle, director of the Robens Institute and senior research fellow at Imperial College London, and Dr Bob Rajan-Sithamparanadarajah OBE, president of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) have both received Distinguished Service Awards from the charity.

Mr Buckle has carried out significant research in the field of musculoskeletal disorders, merging his epidemiology skills with knowledge of ergonomics.

On the other hand, Dr Rajan-Sithamparanadarajah has played a key role in preventing respiratory ill health by increasing workers' understanding of the risk of breathing in harmful materials.

Recently, BAM FM was also honoured by RoSPA after completing five years of high safety standards.

The firm is part of BAM Construct UK and won the gold medal after consistently collecting the gold award for excellent safety work.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801458190-ADNFCR
