The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is introducing a new trophy targeted at businesses which are aiming to reduce work-related road accidents.

The accolade is sponsored by Tesco Dotcom and will debut at RoSPA's Occupational Health and Safety Awards this year to recognise the best use of technology when it comes to managing occupational road risk.

Dave Rawlins, RoSPA awards manager, said: "Use of technology has been a strong feature of Tesco Dotcom’s MORR operations, making it an ideal sponsor for this new trophy.

"The new award will join other specialist awards within the highly respected and long-standing RoSPA Awards programme."

Cliff Cheeseman, Tesco Dotcom operations manager, also commented on the award, explaining that his company is proud to be a sponsor of the MORR trophy.

RoSPA launched its occupational awards scheme in 1956, which has turned into the largest and longest-running programme of its type in Britain.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801545026-ADNFCR
