Firms in South Lanarkshire have been invited to participate in a free road safety seminar in Hamilton next month, which is being run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and may prompt them to install new warning signs.

The event will commence on Thursday September 15th at the Chatelherault Country Park and is endorsed by the Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives. It hopes to boost the road safety knowledge of small and medium-sized firms.

Kathleen Braidwood, RoSPA Scotland road safety officer, said: "We know small firms face challenges in terms of time and money when it comes to investing in safety, which is why this seminar and the resources of help it will promote are free of charge and easy to access."

Another road safety seminar has also been arranged for businesses in Grampian.

The event will take place at the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel on September 14th.ADNFCR-2754-ID-800710231-ADNFCR
