Roberto Mancini to show Mario Balotelli no smoking signs?

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has called for striker Mario Balotelli to heed the warnings on no smoking signs.

The Italian international is believed to have a five-a-day habit and was recently pictured puffing on a cigarette on a night out.

The Daily Mail reported that the boss is concerned that Balotelli's health and fitness could be affected and has asked his player to undergo hypnosis or counselling.

Officials at the club are worried that Balotelli's current eye problem, for which he is having surgery during the international break, is not being helped by his liking for cigarettes.

Since signing for the club from Inter Milan, Balotelli has been at the centre of attention, with reports of his wild lifestyle taking up column inches.

It appears that warning signs are even needed at the Italian's house after his brother set off fireworks inside his bathroom.

Balotelli is not the only footballer who enjoys a cigarette, with Ashley Cole, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov all pictured getting their fix.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801444528-ADNFCR
