Henkel adhesives aim to boost workplace safety

Henkel has unveiled three innovative new anaerobic products that could be used alongside warning signs to boost safety in workplaces.

The Loctite 6300, Loctite 5800 and Loctite 5400 products have been created to contain no hazardous ingredients and expand the company's range of products that began in 2009 with the Loctite 2400 and Loctite 2700 releases.

All of the firm's products meet the stringent No. 1907/2006 – ISO 11014-1 regulations, while their white material data sheet provides a beneficial safety environment for staff who handle adhesives at work.

To exemplify the range's strengths, Loctite 6300 boasts a viscosity of 250 mPa, as well as a sheer strength of 20 N/mm, while Loctite 5800 is a medium-strength liquid gasketing item with a viscosity of 150,000 mPa.

This news comes after a specialist from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health noted that accident rates can be reduced by a third by firms that invest in health and safety measures. ADNFCR-2754-ID-801211170-ADNFCR
