Foster Wheeler wins RoSPA award

Foster Wheeler AG has won the Order of Distinction Award for Occupational Health and Safety by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The honour is RoSPA’s highest achievement award, presented to businesses that have obtained a minimum of 15 successive RoSPA Gold awards for exceptional health and safety.

Filippo Abbà, chairman and chief executive officer, Foster Wheeler Energy Limited, said: “This award reflects our company’s commitment to our Realising Zero strategy designed to engender a Zero Harm safety culture and confirms that our health, safety, environmental and security (HSES) performance is underpinned by world-class systems.”

Mr Abba noted that the award provides continued assurance that the business is a leader in the field of HSES (health, safety, environmental and security) management.

Foster Wheeler employs around 13,000 professionals and serves clients through its global engineering and construction group.
