Energy health and safety specialist Falck Nutec has become the first firm to gain approval to provide two RenewableUK courses.

The company will deliver both Working at Height & Rescue - Wind Turbines and Marine Safety Training, meaning that it will now offer one of the UK's broadest renewable energy health and safety bases.

Lisa Dodds, business development manager for renewable energy at the firm, said: "One of the most hazardous jobs when working on a wind turbine is just getting to and from work, we aim to provide training that has a realistic and worthwhile practical element to it."

Ms Dodds also noted that she is delighted to be able to offer both of the courses in the UK.

Recently, Facilities Services Group confirmed that it will unveil an innovative training scheme as a means of improving its health and safety standards.

The group is producing 32 short videos for its operatives and each one will focus on a certain health and safety subject.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801334613-ADNFCR
