Exhibition to highlight safety sign importance

15th January 2010 | Health and Safety Signs

An upcoming exhibition will help to remind companies of the importance of using health and safety signs.

The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is hosting an event at the Birmingham NEC Arena between May 11th and 13th.

Entitled the Safety and Health Expo 2010, attendees will be reminded of the importance of using workplace precautions to reduce accidents and potential fatalities, with discussions involving industry experts.

"Safety and Health Expo is the UK's leading annual exhibition for the safety and health industry, providing a unique environment for key professionals to keep up-to-date with legislation and developments," the IOSH said.

There will also be feature presentations from industry figures, highlighting how to prevent workplace risks, such as by using health and safety signs.

Meanwhile, Heather Bryant, regional director of the Health and Safety Executive in the south-east, recently said that the hundreds of accidents occurring in the region last year could have been prevented by workplace precautions.ADNFCR-2754-ID-19559311-ADNFCR
