Event to highlight importance of office door signs

An event occurring tomorrow (November 19th) will place emphasis on the importance of warnings such as office door signs which can reduce risks. The Consultancy Group committee has organised a networking event on the theme Risk as a Reality, which will aim to inform businesses how they can help to eliminate dangers in the workplace by using preventative measures such as office signs. It will take place at Osbourne Clark, Temple Back East, Temple Quay, Bristol and speakers will include solicitor Catherine Wolfenden, who will present a talk entitled Foreseeable Risk and Reasonably Practicable: What Do They Actually Mean? Other speakers will include Greg Brown, from the Association for Project Safety, who will aim to highlight the benefits of using safety signs and educating staff about being cautious. Another event being hosted by the Health and Safety Executive will also aim to educate farmers in Derbyshire about the measures they can take to increase safety when it takes place on November 24th in Castleton.
