ESS Offshore Support Services has won the president’s award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

This honour comes as the business has earned 11 consecutive gold awards, with the firm set to receive the accolade at a ceremony held at the Hilton Glasgow on Thursday 19th September 2013.

Jim Simpson, ESS Offshore Support Services HSEQ business leader, said: “We are extremely proud to have been awarded this accolade from RoSPA. People are at the heart of what we do, and their safety is our utmost priority.”

Mr Simpson explained that the award celebrates the company’s continued commitment to offering the best possible safety standards, while highlighting its focussed approach to workplace safety.

David Rawlins, RoSPA's awards manager, also commented on the award, noting that RoSPA believes organisations that demonstrate commitment to continued improvement in accident prevention deserve recognition across all areas of the industry.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801622564-ADNFCR
