Deceuninck has been honoured with an award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The RoSPA awards scheme celebrates efforts to improve accident and ill-health prevention, with the initiative looking at accident records and entrants' overarching health and safety management systems, reports 24-Dash.

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: "RoSPA firmly believes that organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement deserve recognition.

"Deceuninck has shown that it is committed to striving for such improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of an award."

Peter Rich, Deceuninck’s operations manager, praised the company's workers, describing them as the firm's most important asset.

Mr Rich added that it is great for the company to be recognised for its commitment in the field.

The RoSPA awards date back 57 years, making it the largest programme of its kind in Britain. It is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes in the UK and overseas.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801652029-ADNFCR
