Chippenham Town FC is hoping to introduce signage to its Hardenhuish Park ground.

There are currently no notices pointing to the team's home, causing confusion among visitors to the area when they go in search of the venue, reports the Wiltshire Gazette and Herald.

Wil Hulbert, spokesman for the club and chairman of the Bluebirds’ Supporter Club, told the news provider: "We are reacting to the criticism from supporters who visit us and say there is no signage."

Mr Hulbert added that he was "shocked" to discover that the signage would cost £4,000, adding that any help through donations would be "greatly appreciated".

He noted that contact has been made with Wiltshire Council, but no agreement was reached.

It is vital that venues include signs around their local area, as visitors may otherwise struggle to find the destinations, potentially causing them to abandon trips, resulting in lost money for businesses.ADNFCR-2754-ID-801453089-ADNFCR
