Benfleet residents complain to Essex County Council over huge road sign

Residents in Benfleet have threatened legal action against Essex County Council over a huge road sign in the area.
The Echo has reported that a number of homeowners in the Hornbeams area may consider suing the authority over the notice, which is positioned across the A130, close to the Sadlers Farm roundabout.
Local resident David Stojkin told the news provider: "It sticks out like a sore thumb, it’s so obtrusive it’s untrue. I sit down for breakfast and I see it, I go into the bedrooms and bathroom and I see it."
Mr Stojkin explained that residents are getting advice from solicitors regarding the matter.
Signage was also recently met with complaints in Watford, with the Watford Observer reporting that locals have been sent in the wrong direction due to a notice at the Lower High Street entrance.
Local resident Ross King described the directions as "ludicrous".
